The iconic story of a man overcoming his challenges is a story told quite frequently. However, for most people, the story of Rocky Balboa is one of the best. The story of rocky is one that has been a Hollywood hit and has been represented in seven box office movies.

Sylvester Stallone was the actor who played in the early Rocky movies. His career was created and based upon the Rocky series and the Rambo series. Sylvester seems like a pretty large dude in most of the movies. He is tall enough to be intimidating but short enough to still be represented as the underdog.

According to Heightline Sylvester sits at the American average five foot ten inches. I wouldn’t consider archetypal actor to be tall, especially when compared to the blonde giant Dolph Lundgren (Ivan Drago). Whom of which, was the antagonist fighter rocky had to overcome in the fourth Rocky movie.

Hollywood has a bag of tricks they use to make actors/actresses look taller/shorter depending on the feel of the movie. Simply by angling the camera from above instead of below, having the actor wear taller shoes, or putting them around people that are shorter/taller than them. It is quite common to find that the actor you saw in a movie isn’t as tall as they seemed in their movies.
